For Tom Kirzeder, understanding homes started long before real estate. Born and raised in Crosby, Tom grew up swinging a hammer alongside his dad, Jim, developing an appreciation for how homes are built, maintained and improved.

After earning his degree from St. John’s University, Tom spent approximately 20 years working in the construction industry. His experience includes solar, high-end residential construction, roofing and exterior work, along with certifications in residential energy auditing, residential contracting and home inspection. That hands-on background gives Tom a perspective that goes well beyond bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage.

Real estate became a natural extension of that experience. Tom found himself helping people understand properties, recognize potential concerns and navigate the inspection process. Today, he brings that same practical knowledge to every buyer and seller he represents.

For buyers, Tom can help them look beyond finishes and first impressions and ask better questions about the home they're considering. When something requires the expertise of an inspector, contractor or another professional, he also understands when it's time to bring that expert into the conversation.

For sellers, one of Tom's specialties is helping get a home “list ready.” Rather than automatically recommending expensive updates, he helps homeowners take a practical look at their property, identify what deserves attention and prepare it for the market.

But Tom's connection to the Cuyuna Lakes Area goes much deeper than his work.

Crosby is home. It's where he grew up, and it's where he and his wife, Marit, are raising their children, Cora, Emily, Wesley and Charles. His knowledge of the area comes from a lifetime spent living, working and raising a family here.

Whether you're buying your first home, selling a longtime family property, searching for lakeshore or trying to understand what you're looking at during a showing, Tom believes good representation starts with straightforward information and someone firmly in your corner.

Tyler Hendrickson doesn't just sell real estate in the Crosby and Cuyuna Lakes Area. This is the community that helped shape who he is.

Born and raised in Crosby, Tyler brings a combination of local knowledge, real estate experience and a hands-on understanding of properties to The REP Team. Before and alongside his work in real estate, Tyler gained experience as a framer, mason, roofer and sider, carpenter and property manager.

That background matters when you're working with homes.

A property is more than a listing, and Tyler understands that buyers and sellers often need someone who can help them look at the bigger picture. His experience allows him to bring a practical perspective to conversations about condition, maintenance, improvements and the realities of owning a property.

Tyler works with residential homes, lakeshore, acreage, investment properties and commercial real estate throughout Crosby, Ironton, Deerwood and the surrounding Brainerd Lakes Area. Whether someone is buying their first home, considering an investment or selling a property they've owned for years, his approach remains straightforward: understand what the client is trying to accomplish and help them get there.

His connection to the community extends well beyond real estate.

Over the years, Tyler has been involved locally through efforts including Mineland Cleanup, Watch D.O.G.S., coaching C-I football and serving as a volunteer Crosby firefighter. He has also been involved with Habitat for Humanity efforts that have helped raise more than $2.25 million and contributed to the construction of more than 15 homes.

When he isn't working, you'll often find Tyler enjoying many of the same things that bring people to the Cuyuna Lakes Area in the first place—biking, swimming, fishing and sports.

That combination of real estate experience, construction knowledge and genuine connection to the area is a big part of what Tyler brings to every client relationship.
